RE: APPROVAL OF APPRAISAL FEE AGREEMENTS BETWEEN WELD COUNTY
AND MOUNTAIN BELL TELEPHONE COMPANY FOR THE INVENTORY OF
TELEPHONE WIRE AUTHORIZATION FOR CHAIRMAN TO SIGN SAME
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the Board' s attention that,
due to the de-regulation of the phone companies, Weld County is
now obligated to purchase the telephone wire used for its phone
service, and
WHEREAS , the Board deems it advisable that an inventory be
conducted on the telephone wiring in the Centennial Center, its
outlying offices and the Ft. Lupton Building to determine the
purchase price of said wiring, and
WHEREAS, Appraisal Fee Agreements between Weld County and
Mountain Bell Telephone Company have been prepared and presented
to the Board for its approval, copies of which are attached
hereto and incorporated herein by reference, and
WHEREAS, after study and review, the Board deems it advis-
able to approve said Appraisal Fee Agreements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that'the Appraisal Fee Agree-
ments authorizing Mountain Bell Telephone Company to conduct a
telephone wiring inventory in the Centennial Center, its outlying
offices and the Ft. Lupton Building to determine the purchase
price of said wiring be, and hereby are, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chairman be,
and hereby is, authorized to sign said Agreements.
