Box 758 Greeley, CO 80632 Dear Commissioner Carlson: The primary purpose of this letter is to acknowledge receipt of your applica- tion to the Department for FY 1984 "Small Cities" Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program funds in the amount of $351,718 for the Gill/Kersey Housing Rehabilitation/Acquisition/Relocation Project. The Division of Housing has been designated as the "lead" Division for review of your proposal (84-471). Copies of your application have also been sent to a number of other State agencies for review and comments. Questions regarding your application should be directed to Lester Fields, Division of Housing, 415 Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado 80203. The Division's phone number is 866-2033. A total of 115 applications requesting more than $50 million were received. The amount of funds available to the State for new commitments in FY 1984 is expected to be about $9.5 million. In late April we will send to you our written evaluation and rating of this application. A copy of our evaluation and rating will be sent at the same time to the members of our Advisory Committee. The Advisory Committee has tentatively scheduled its hearings on the applications for May 9, 10 and 11. Applicants whose applications receive "High" or "Medium" staff ratings will be scheduled for a presentation at the Advisory Committee hearings. Applicants whose applications receive "Low" staff ratings will be scheduled to make a presentation only if they specifically request to be scheduled. Box A Greeley, Colorado 80632 Dear Mr. Sheehan: The Weld County Division of Human Resources would like to take this opportunity to offer our support in your effort to receive funding for a rehabilitation project in the Kersey area. The Division of Human Resources administers the Weatherization Program under the Department of Energy for the Weld County area. Currently, the Division has funding available for weatherization services through March of 1984 and indications are that we will be funded in April of 1984. The Weatherization Program providesrweatherization services to low-income home owners and renters. The Division encourages all participants of the Housing Authority project in Kersey to submit applications for the Weatherization Program.
