The following change is hereby made to the Contract Documents:
Add structure WEL088.0-027.0A to contract for lump sum amount of$17,250.00, structure WEL029.0-
088.0A to contract for lump sum amount of$19,700.00, and structure WEL003.0-012.0C to contract for
lump sum amount of$23,000.00.
CHANGE TO CONTRACT PRICE:
Original Contract Price: $ 134.030.00
Current Contract Price adjusted by previous Change Order: $ 134,030.00
The Contract Price due to this Change Order will be increased by: $ 59.950.00
The new Contract Price, including this Change Order,will be $ 193,980.00
CHANGE TO CONTRACT TIME:
The Contract Time will be increased by 54 calendar days.
The date for completion of all Work will be May 29.2003 .

COLORADO RE: Change Order No. 1 for Bridge Rehabilitation Contract
The annual bridge rehabilitation contract was awarded on October 7, 2002 to Can-Do Concrete Construction, Inc.
There are ten (10) bridges on this year's contract. Currently five of those bridges have been started or completed.
The other five bridges remaining in the contract are crossing irrigation ditches that are currently flowing water.
When this contract was awarded, Can-Do Concrete Construction was informed that there were additional structures
that could be added to the contract, time permitting. Can-Do Concrete Construction has given the County bids for
four(4) additional structures as shown below:
WEL088.0-027.0A - $17,250.00
WEL029.0-088.0A - $19,700.00
WEL003.0-012.0C - $23,000.00
WEL038.0-003.0A - $25,000.00
Our current budget will allow us to award the top three bridges in this list. The top two bridges on this list are
crossing the Pierce Lateral Canal and are dry for the season. Since water is out of the Pierce Lateral until April next
year,Can-Do Concrete Construction Inc. would be able to start on them immediately. The third bridge on the list is
located in southwestern Weld County and crosses the Lower Boulder Ditch, which is also currently dry. These
three bridges are good candidates for rehabilitation.
It is my recommendation to accept this Change Order for adding bridges WEL088.0-027.0A, WEL029.0-088.0A,
and WEL003.0-012.0C to the Bridge Rehabilitation Contract for an additional $59,950.00 and increasing the
contract time by 54 calendar days.
