RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT TO GREELEY-WELD COUNTY AIRPORT AUTHORITY
BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the Greeley-Weld County Airport Authority
Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Ernie Crownover be appointed to said board
as a joint City/County citizen representative, with a term expiring December 31, 2006, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Ernie Crownover be, and hereby is, appointed to the Greeley-
Weld County Airport Authority Board, with his term to expire December 31, 2006.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 23rd day of December, A.D., 2002.

RE: Appointment of Seventh Member of Airport Board
Attached please find a copy of the Resolution adopted by:;the Airport Board of
Commissioners at its December 19'^,2002 meeting. This Resolutioi formally recommends
to the Greeley City Council and the Board of Weld County Commissipoersthe appointment
of Mr. Ernie E. Crownover to the Greeley-Weld County Airport Authority as the seventh
member (Joint City/County citizen appointee).
Your assistance in having the Greeley City Council and.the Board of Weld County
Commissioners adopt the appropriate resolutions or actions for Mr. Crownover's
appointment would be appreciated. The Airport Board wishes to have Mr. Crownover's
appointment confirmed prior to its January 16th, 2003 regular meeting.

RESOLUTION NO. 13-02
A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING THE APPOINTMENT OF ERNIE E. CROWNOVER
TO THE CITY OF GREELEY AND WELD COUNTY AS THE SEVENTH MEMBER OF
THE GREELEY-WELD COUNTY AIRPORT AUTHORITY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
WHEREAS,effective January 1" 2003,the seventh member position on the Greeley-Weld
County Airport Authority Board of Commissioners,also known as the joint City and County
position, shall be vacant; and
WHEREAS,in accordance with the By-Laws of the Greeley-Weld County Airport Authority,
Paragraph VI"Board of Commissioners, Officers and Personnel"Section-2"vacancies",
the Airport Board is responsible for recommending a candidate to the Greeley City Council
and Board of Weld County Commissioners to fill any vacancy in the seventh member
position; and
WHEREAS,the Greeley-Weld County Airport Authority Board of Commissioners accepted
applications from, conducted interviews with, or otherwise considered all interested
persons who responded to public advertisements concerning such vacancy; and
WHEREAS,the Board of Commissioners have selected Ernie E.Crownover to recommend
for appointment to the Greeley City Council and the Board of Weld County Commissioners
as the seventh member of the Greeley-Weld County Airport Authority Board of
Commissioners.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Greeley-Weld County Airport Authority
Board of Commissioners,that it recommends to the Greeley City Council and to the Board
of Weld County Commissioners, the appointment of Ernie E. Crownover as its seventh
member.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that It is requested of the Greeley City Council and Board
of Weld County Commissioners, that each adopt the appropriate resolutions for such
appointment, prior to the January 16th, 2003 regularly scheduled meeting of the Airport
Board.
ADOPTED this 19th day of December, 2002.
