RE: DECLARATION SURPLUS PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Equipment Service Manager has recommended additional
items to be declared surplus property and the surplus property has
been examined by the Director of Finance and Administration who
concurs that the property itemized on the attached Exhibit is no
longer required for the operation of Weld County government and
should be disposed of through sale , and
WHEREAS, the Equipment Service Manager has recommended that
two items identified on the Exhibit eariler declared surplus and
authorized for sale be removed from said surplus list and retained
by Weld County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado that all except the following
two items :
Chevrolet 1 Ton Truck Serial Number CS337J124943
Chevrolet Dump Truck Serial Number CS537J139568
be, and hereby are, declared surplus property in accordance with
the Weld County Home Rule Charter and appropriate state statutes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and
Administration and Purchasing Agent are hereby authorized and
directed to dispose of the itemized surplus property at an
auction to be held September 26, 1981 in Commerce City in
conjunction with Adams County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and
Administration is further directed to deposit all proceeds from
the sale of the attached item into the General fund of Weld
County.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 23rd day of
September, A. D. , 1981.
