RE: APPROVAL OF AGREEMENT TO ESTABLISH PRICE FOR MINERAL
RIGHTS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, an agreement to establish the price of Weld
County mineral rights between Anheuser-Busch Companies, Inc. ,
and Weld County has been presented to the Board of County
Commissioners, and
WHEREAS, Anheuser-Busch contemplates obtaining an option
to purchase severed mineral rights owned by Weld County in
certain lands located in the NW4 of the NWa of Section 26 ,
Township 6 North, Range 66 West of the 6th P.M. , Weld County,
Colorado, and
WHEREAS, said agreement dated November 12 , 1981, attached
hereto and made a part hereof, sets forth the rights and
obligations of the parties and the purchase price of the
mineral rights of $50. 00 per mineral acre, and
WHEREAS, Weld County owns . 57 mineral acres in the
above described parcel of land, and
WHEREAS, said agreement shall remain in effect for a
period of 12 months from the date of said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado that the Agreement to
Establish Price for Mineral Rights between Weld County and
Anheuser-Busch Companies, Inc. be, and hereby is , approved.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly
made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 30th
day of November, A.D. , 1981.

AGREEMENT TO ESTABLISH PRICE FOR MINERAL RIGHTS
Agreement made this 12 day of November , 19881 ,
between the Seller (s) , identified by Acceptance Signature
below and ANHEUSER-BUSCH COMPANIES, INC . , '(A-B) , represented
by Glenn K. Billings of Weber Realty, Inc. , Greeley, Colorado.
RECITALS
1 . A-U contemplates obtaining options to purchase certain lands
in Sections 22 , 26 and 27, all in Township 6 , N, R 66 , West
of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado, and in connection
therewith, contemplates obtaining options to purchase the
severed mineral interests in said lands.
2 . A-B considers it essential to establish a price per mineral
acre of the severed mineral rights before obtaining an option
to purchase the lands described in paragraph 1 above.
3 . The options to purchase minerals are to be of the same length
and are to be exercised and closed or rejected at the time
of acceptance and closing or rejection of the options to
purchase the lands described in paragraph 1.
4 . The option will be granted for payment by A-B to Seller (s)
for 10% of the agreed purchase price, non-refundable but
applicable to the total purchase price for the severed
minerals.
Therefore, in consideration of One Dollar and Other Good and
Valuable Consideration in hand paid by A-B to Seller (s) , receipt
of which is acknowledged, it is agreed as follows :
A. The above Recitals are made a part of this Agreement .
13 . The agreed purchase price of the mineral rights , to
be described shall be $50.00 per mineral acre .
C . Seller (s) own .57 mineral acres, under the follow-
ing described land: NW% of NW's Section 26. Township 6 North. Range
66 West, Weld County, Colorado
D . This Agreement shall remain in effect for a period of
12 months from the date hereof.
APPROVED, ACCEPTED AND SIGNED on the day and year first above
