RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Workforce Development Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Bernard Ruesgen be appointed to said
board as the large business representative, to replace Renee Williams, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Janet Smith be appointed to said board as
an adult literacy representative, to replace Patricia Colleen Flack, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Bernard Ruesgen to said board,
with his term to expire December 31, 2004.
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Janet Smith to said board, with her
term to expire December 31, 2002.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Bernard Ruesgen be, and hereby is, appointed to the Workforce
Development Board, with his term to expire December 31, 2004.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Janet Smith be, and hereby is,
appointed to the Workforce Development Board, with her term to expire December 31, 2002.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 18th day of March, A.D., 2002.
