RE: APPROVE LIST OF PERSONS FOR WELD COUNTY GRIEVANCE BOARD AND
AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 3-3-140.B.3 of the Weld County Code, the Board of
County Commissioners must choose a person with labor relations and/or legal background to
serve as the Chairperson for the Weld County Grievance Board, and
WHEREAS, according to said procedures, a list shall be maintained of individuals with
appropriate backgrounds, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Personnel has presented Chuck Connell, Don Hoff,
Jacqueline Johnson, Ron Lambden, Rich LiPuma, Stan Peek, Mark Rapp, and Todd Taylor, as
individuals who are qualified with appropriate labor relations and/or legal backgrounds, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advisable to approve those
individuals above-named, one of whom will be appointed by the Director of Personnel to hear a
particular grievance requested by an employee, pursuant to the grievance procedures in the
Weld County Code, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Chuck Connell, Don Hoff, Jacqueline Johnson, Ron Lambden,
Rich LiPuma, Stan Peek, Mark Rapp, and Todd Taylor be, and hereby are, approved as
individuals, one of whom will be appointed by the Director of Personnel to hear a particular
grievance requested by an employee, pursuant to the grievance procedures in the Weld County
Code.
