A public hearing was conducted on July 24, 2002, at 10:00 a.m., with the following present: Commissioner Glenn Vaad, Chair Commissioner David D. Long, Pro-Tem Commissioner M. J. Geile Commissioner William H. Jerke Commissioner Robert D. Masden Also present: Acting Clerk to the Board, Esther Gesick Assistant County Attorney, Lee Morrison Planning Department representative, Carla Angeli The following business was transacted: I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated June 14, 2002, and duly published June 19, 2002, in the Tri-Town Farmer and Miner and the Greeley Tribune, a public hearing was conducted on July 10, 2002, to consider the request of JER, a partnership, c/o Lifestyle Homes, Inc.,for Change of Zone#569 from the R-5(Mobile Home Residential)Zone District to the R-2(Duplex Residential) Zone District. At said hearing on July 10, 2002, at the request of the applicant, the Board deemed it advisable to continue the hearing to July 24, 2002, due to scheduling conflicts and to allow the applicant additional time to consider whether to proceed or withdraw this application. At said hearing on July 24, 2002, Lee Morrison, Assistant County Attorney, made this a matter of record. Carla Angeli, Department of Planning Services, stated the applicants have submitted a request to withdraw the application for Change of Zone #569, and the property owners submitted a letter stating the sales contract is not valid and the request should not be considered at this time. No public testimony was offered concerning this matter. Commissioner Masden moved to approve the request of JER, a partnership, do Lifestyle Homes, Inc., to withdraw the application for Change of Zone#569 from the R-5 (Mobile Home Residential) Zone District to the R-2 (Duplex Residential) Zone District. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Long, and it carried unanimously.
