I am pleased to inform you that the Historic Preservation Commission has scheduled a public
designation hearing for the Downtown Greeley Historic District, which includes your
property(ies) at 922-934 9th Avenue and the Weld County Courthouse, on Monday,November
25, 2002 at 4:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Hensel Phelps Theater of the Union
Colony Civic Center, at 701 10th Avenue. You may access the Hensel Phelps Theater through
the Recreation Center at 651 10th Avenue. Members of the public will have the opportunity to
comment in support or opposition during the meeting.
I am currently preparing a report on the history and significance of the district. Please contact me
