RESOLUTION
RE: APPROVE CANCELLATION AND RELEASE OF COLLATERAL FOR PETERSBURG
MINOR SUBDIVISION, S #534 - SHAWN AND PAULA PETERSBURG
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution dated June 4, 2001, the Board did approve an Improvements
Agreement According to Policy Regarding Collateral for Improvements (Private Road
Maintenance) with Shawn and Paula Petersburg, 2509 Weld County Road 10, Erie, Colorado
80516, on the following described real estate, to-wit:
Part of the SE1/4 of Section 9, Township 1 North,
Range 68 West of 6th P.M., Weld County,
Colorado
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, did accept
Company Check#1556 from New Image Construction, Inc., in the amount of $3,200.00, and
WHEREAS, staff from the Weld County Departments of Planning Services and Public
Works have conducted a visual inspection of the project and recommend cancellation and
release of said collateral, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Board that the collateral being held by Weld
County is no longer necessary to secure said Improvements Agreement According to Policy
Regarding Collateral for Improvements (Private Road Maintenance) for Petersburg Minor
Subdivision, S #534, Shawn and Paula Petersburg, and
WHEREAS, upon recommendation of staff, the Board deems it advisable to release said
collateral.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the cash collateral in the amount of$3,200.00, be, and hereby is,
canceled and released.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Clerk to the Board be, and hereby
is, directed to return said collateral to the appropriate issuing party.

SUBJECT: Release of Collateral for S-534 (Shawn & Paula Petersburg)
On June 4, 2001, the Board of County Commissioners accepted collateral in the amount of
Three-Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($3,200.00) to cover the relocation of an existing fence
and roadway improvements for S-534 (3-lot minor subdivision) for Shawn & Paula
Petersburg.
* The Department of Public Works, in a memo dated March 29, 2002, indicated that all
transportation items have been completed and recommended the release of collateral.
There are no planning collateral items associated with this subdivision.
The Departments of Public Works and Planning Services recommend that this request for
release of collateral be approved.
