RE: GRANT REQUEST FROM OLSON BROS., LLC, TO PRE-ADVERTISE CHANGE OF
ZONE #570
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has received a request from Olson Bros., LLC, P.O. Box 38,
Berthoud, Colorado 80513, do Todd Hodges Design, LLC, 2412 Denby Court, Fort Collins,
Colorado 80526, for pre-advertisement of an application for Change of Zone #570 from the A
(Agricultural) Zone District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) Zone District for eight (8)
residential lots with E (Estate) zone uses, one 54.4-acre agricultural outlot, and 12 acres of
common open space, and
WHEREAS, said property is described as Lot B of Recorded Exemption #2746; being
part of the NE1/4 of Section 30, Township 4 North, Range 67 West of the 6th P.M., Weld
County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, after study and review the Board deems it advisable to grant said request,
with the hearing date to be set as April 24, 2002, at 10:00 a.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the request from Olson Bros., LLC, for pre-advertisement of an
application for Change of Zone #570 from the A (Agricultural) Zone District to the PUD
(Planned Unit Development) Zone District for eight (8) residential lots with E (Estate) zone
uses, one 54.4-acre agricultural outlot, and 12 acres of common open space be, and hereby is,
granted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the hearing date to consider said
request be, and hereby is, set as April 24, 2002, at 10:00 a.m.

be heard by the Planning Commission on April 2, 2002, be pre-advertised. If you wish to approve
this request,a hearing before the Board on April 24, 2002,will allow adequate time for advertising.

RE: Pre-Advertisement for Olson Bros LLC PUD COZ application Z-570
Dear Commissioners:
I represent Olson Bros LLC in the endeavor to subdivide their property through the
Planned Unit Development process. This letter is a formal request for a pre-
advertisement concerning the PUD Change of Zone application Z-570. Due to
extenuating circumstances and the length of time the application has been in process we
ask for the earliest possible hearing date to present Z-570 before you. After a phone
conversation with Ms. Gesick, it was determined that the earliest date available is April
24, 2002 at 10:00 am.
I have enclosed a check in the amount of $ 15.00 to make up the difference for the pre-
advertisement fee.
