RE: APPROVE VACATION OF USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT#82 - DUANE AND
FRANCES WILSON
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution dated February 10, 1971, the Board did approve Special
Review Permit#82 for a Hog and Sheep Feedlot (maximum of 600 hogs and 20,000 sheep) in
the A (Agricultural) Zone District for Duane and Frances Wilson on the following described real
estate, to-wit:
Part of the NW1/4 of Section 35, Township 7 North,
Range 66 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County,
Colorado
WHEREAS, the Board has received a request from Duane and Frances Wilson, 16350
Weld County Road 76, Eaton, Colorado 80615, to vacate said Special Review Permit #82 as a
Condition of Approval for Recorded Exemption #3252, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners heard all of the testimony and
statements of those present, studied the request of the applicant and the recommendations of
the Department of Planning Services staff and all of the exhibits and evidence presented in this
matter and, having been fully informed, deems it advisable to approve said vacation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Use by Special Review Permit#82 be, and hereby is, vacated.

SUBJECT: Vacation of SUP-82
The Department of Planning Services has received the attached letter dated August 9, 2002
from Duane and Frances Wilson. The letter is requesting that SUP-82 and SUP-151 be vacated
since the use is no longer being performed on the property. SUP-151 was previously vacated
by the Board.
Background information for SUP-82:
Legal Description: Part of the NW4 of Section 35, Township 7 North, Range 66 West of the
6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado.
Location: East of and adjacent to Weld County Road 33 and south of and adjacent
to Weld County Road 76. The site is approximately 1 mile west of the
Town of Eaton.
SUP-82: SUP-82 was approved by the BOCC on February 10, 1971, for a hog and
sheep feed lot with a maximum of 600 hogs and 20,000 sheep.
Duane and Frances Wilson recently applied for Recorded Exemption 3252. Because the
Special Use Permits are no longer active, the Department of Planning Services required the
vacation of SUP-82 and SUP-151 as a condition of approval.
