Platteville, Co. We have been in the prrocess of trying to have our house constructed since May of 2000. We were under the understanding that our property line was at a different location.When we realized it was not we considered that it cost us approximately $23,000 to remove the foundation and start over. We are also paying interest and storage fees of approx. $600.00 per month as we wait. I would very much appreciate a early review of my case. Sincerely, �( x�1/w,SLp EXHIBIT Weld County Department of Planning Services 1555 North 17th Avenue Greeley, Colorado 80631 December 14, 2001 Attention: Board of County Commissioners Dear Sirs: As owners of the above referenced property, we are seeking approval for a vacation of the utility easement relating to the north side of our property. Due to an error regarding the prooperty pin locations,we have placed the foundation of our new home in the easement for the utilities. The north side of the property adjoins a large open space area. This open space area is part of the second filing of Pelican Lake Ranch, We have met with the owners of the open space and they are in support of our requst. If this variance is not granted, we estimate the cost of relocating the foundation would be approximately $21,000.00. We are looking for your support for this variance due to the finaancial hardship we would incur in relocating the foundation. We have attached supporting documents for your review including copies of recent letters from Xcel Energy, Greeley Gas Company, Qwest Network Services and Central Weld County Water District.
