RE: PURCHASE OF SECURITY SYSTEM.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado Statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has purchased a new facility
for the Road and Bridge Department from Richard and Francis Geisert, and
WHEREAS, the facility purchase has a security system that is not con-
sidered to be real property located in it, and
WHEREAS, the Geisert's have offered to sell the security system to Weld
County for ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($1,000) , and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Administration and Superintendent
of Buildings and Grounds have examined the security system and determined
that it is of value to Weld County in the amount of ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS
($1,000) , and
WHEREAS, it is the policy of the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado to purchase all used equipment via a resolution.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, the purchase of the installed security system at the
new Road and Bridge headquarters facility in the amount of ONE THOUSAND
DOLLARS ($1,000.00) from Richard and Francis Geisert is hereby authorized.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 5th day of May, A.D. , 1982.
