RE: APPROVE CHANGE ORDER LETTER #3 FOR ALLOCATION LETTER#02-19 AND
AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with Change Order Letter#3 for Allocation
Letter#02-19 between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of
County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Weld County Community Corrections
Board, and the Colorado Department of Public Safety, Division of Criminal Justice, commencing
upon full execution of said change order letter, and ending June 30, 2002, with further terms
and conditions being as stated in said change order letter, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said change order
letter, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Change Order Letter#3 for Allocation Letter#02-19 between the
County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, on behalf of the Weld County Community Corrections Board, and the Colorado
Department of Public Safety, Division of Criminal Justice, be, and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized
to sign said change order letter.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 19th day of June, A.D., 2002.

Dear Ms. Zuber:
Pursuant to paragraph 5 of Exhibit B (Allocation Letter) to the contract between the
Department of Public Safety, Division of Criminal Justice (DCJ), and the Board of
Commissioners of Weld County, DCJ hereby notifies you that the maximum amount
payable from the State under Allocation Letter # 02-19 to Contract # DCJ 00-04-19,
Bill Owens
GOVERNOR covering the period July 1,2001 through June 30,2002,is hereby changed.The maximum
C.Suzanne Meneer amount payable for 3/4 house placements at a daily rate of$14.48 per offender is hereby

This amendment to the contract and allocation letter is intended to be effective June 24, 2002, but
in no event shall this amendment be deemed valid until it shall have been approved by the State
Controller or his designee.
Please sign, date and return all copies of this Letter on or before June 24, 2002.
