OF MINING LEASE
KNOW ALL MEN ,BY THESE PRESENTS:
That the undersigned, in accordance with certain provisions of
the hereinafter described lease, does hereby release, relinquish and
surrender to the original lessor (s) named in said lease, their heirs,
successors and assigns all of the right, title and interest of the
undersigned in, to and under that certain Mining Lease and only that
certain Mining Lease dated the 30th day of September , 1977 ,
by and between County of Weld, Colorado, a political subdivision of
the state of Colorado, by and through its Board of County Commissioners
as Lessor(s) , and POWER RESOURCES CORPORATION
as Lessee, recorded on the 6th day of October , 19 77,
in Book 810 , Page ---, Rec. No. 1732396, of the records of
Weld County, State of Colorado , insofar
only as said lease covers the following described lands located in
said county, to-wit:
Township 9 North, Range 60 West
Section 30: SEA
Section 31: NE$, SW1
Containing 480.00 acres more or less
* A partial Quitclaim and Release of Mining Lease was executed on
July 14, 1982 and recorded in Book 973, Reception No. 1898350
of the records of Weld County, Colorado covering the remainder
of the lands originally leased.
but there is excepted from this Release any and all right, title and
interest of the undersigned under said lease in any other lands covered
by said lease which are not specifically described in the Release.

Uranium Lease - Power Resources

Lease #4
The Recording Department was able to furnish a copy of the release
of some of the parcels in lease #4 , dated August 2 , 1984 . Today I
spoke with Katie Altman, land administrator with Power Resources,
who stated that the rest of the parcels in lease #4 were released
in a document dated December 2 , 1985 . She said Power Resources is
closing its Denver office and these documents are not accessible.
The Recording Department does not have a copy of the release dated
December 2 , 1985 .
Lease #5
Ms. Altman stated that she was sure the release of lease #5 was
intended to be complete; in fact , it is the position of Power
Resources that all their leases with Weld County have been
released.
Lease #9
Further examination of the release of parcels in lease #9 would
indicate that all parcels in this lease were in fact released.
Ms . Altman also said that if Weld County questions the release of
any of these parcels , Power Resources will be glad to sign a
release of lease submitted by Weld County. If this is deemed to
be appropriate it should be addressed as follows:

Uranium Lease - Power Resources
Subject:
Pursuant to your request, I have examined the Power Resource lease
file and find the following:
1 . Weld County lease numbers 1 , 2 , 3, 6 , 7 , 8, and 10 have been
released in total. The parcels listed in said leases are now
available and may be offered for lease by Weld County.
2. The lease file shows that of the parcels listed in lease
number 4 , only the first two parcels , the West Half of the
Southeast One Quarter of Section 20 , Township 9 North, Range
60 West , and the South One Half of the Southeast One Quarter
of Section 21 , Township 9 North, Range 60 West, have been
released. A notation in the file indicates that the
Southeast One Quarter of Section 30 and the Northeast One
Quarter and Southwest One Quarter of Section 31 , Township 9
North, Range 60 West, were also released on August 2 , 1984 .
However, the release documents end with released dated July
14 , 1982 , and if the two above parcels were released in
August of 1984, the document releasing the same is not to be
found in the Power Resources file. In any event, no releases
are found or indicated for the remaining two parcels: the
South One Half of Section 27 , Township 9 North, Range 60
West, and the West One Half of the Southeast One Quarter and
the West Half of the East Half of the Southeast One Quarter
of Section 34 , Township 9 North, Range 60 West.
3. Releases are in the file for all parcels listed in lease
number 5. However, as to the East One Half of the Southwest
One Quarter and Lot 7 of Section 6 , Township 9 North, Range
61 West, the file shows a re-ratification of this parcel
after its release on April 25 , 1980 , by Resolution of the
Board of County Commissioners dated May 29 , 1980 .
4. The Northeast One Quarter, the North One Half of the
Southwest One Quarter, and the North One Half of the
Southeast One Quarter of Section 12 , Township 9 North, Range
66 and the Southeast One Quarter of Section 14 , Township 9
North, Range 66 West , have not been released from lease
number 9.
Said leases , however, are in default by both Power Resources
Corporation and its assignee , Wyoming Mineral Corporation.

Paragraph 25 of the leases provides that "For any default in the
payment of money, Lessor may terminate this lease by notice to
Lessee if such default is not cured within thirty days after such
written notice of default. " This procedure should be pursued
should Wyoming Mineral Corporation and Power Respurces not
favorably respond to a request for release.
