Approve Recommendation of Appointment to Frederick Urban Renewal Authority
Whereas, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
Whereas, pursuant to House Bill 15-1348 and the establishment of
Section 31-25-104(2.5) which modified statutory provisions governing urban
redevelopment to promote the equitable financial contribution among affected public
bodies in connection with urban redevelopment projects, a new position exists on the
Frederick Urban Renewal Authority, and
Whereas, the Weld County Board of Commissioners recommends to the Mayor of the
Town of Frederick that Commissioner Scott K. James be appointed to said board as a
new member.
Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that Commissioner Scott K. James be, and hereby is, recommended for
appointment to the Frederick Urban Renewal Authority Board.
The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, approved the above
and foregoing Resolution, on motion duly made and seconded, by the following vote on
the 5th day of January, A.D., 2026:
