Approve Appointment of Commissioner Jason S. Maxey to Certain Advisory
Boards
Whereas, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
Whereas, it has been recommended that Commissioner Jason S. Maxey be appointed
to represent the Board of County Commissioners on the following boards:
• Bright Futures Advisory Board
• Federal Mineral Lease Act District Board (Term to Expire January 15, 2028)
• Greeley-Weld County Airport Authority (Term to Expire December 31, 2028)
• Pre-Trial Services Advisory Board
• Regional Communications Advisory Board
Whereas, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Commissioner Jason S. Maxey to said
boards, with his terms to expire December 31, 2026, unless otherwise listed.
Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that Commissioner Jason S. Maxey, be, and hereby is, appointed to the above
listed boards, with his term to expire December 31, 2026, unless otherwise listed.
The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, adopted the above
and foregoing Resolution, on motion duly made and seconded, by the following vote on
the 5th day of January, A.D., 2026:
