Approve Appointment of Commissioner Scott K. James to Certain Advisory Boards
Whereas, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
Whereas, it has been recommended that Commissioner Scott K. James be appointed to
represent the Board of County Commissioners on the following boards:
• Bright Futures Advisory Board
• North Front Range Metropolitan Planning Organization (NFRMPO) —
Regular Member
• Upstate Colorado Economic Development Board
Whereas, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Commissioner Scott K. James to said
boards, with his term to expire December 31, 2026.
Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that Commissioner Scott K. James, be, and hereby is, appointed to the above
listed boards, with his term to expire December 31, 2026.
The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, adopted the above
and foregoing Resolution, on motion duly made and seconded, by the following vote on
the 5th day of January, A.D., 2026:
