RESOLUTION RE: AUTHORIZATION FOR CHAIRMAN TO SIGN QUIT CLAIM DEED TO RANCHERO DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION CONCERNING. THE CONSTRUCTION OF WELD COUNTY ROAD 31. WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, on January 24 , 1979, the Board of County Commis- sioners of Weld County, Colorado adopted a resolution approving the construction of an extension of Weld County Road 31, and WHEREAS, said resolution authorized the Weld County Engineer to acquire the right-of-way for construction of Weld County Road 31, and WHEREAS, a property owner is willing to grant Weld County right-of-way for the construction of Road 31 through his property in exchange of a quit claim of any right-of-way the County may have acquired on the section line by the Resolution of 1889, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advisable to authorize the Chairman of the Board to sign the Quit Claim Deed. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com- missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the Chairman of the Board is hereby authorized to sign the Quit Claim Deed to Ranchero Development Corporation concerning the acquisition of right-of- way for Weld County Road 31. The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 7th day of May, A.D. , 1980.
