RE: APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT TO RESOLUTION CONCERNING VACATION OF
A PORTION OF STREET LOCATED IN SECTION 17 , TOWNSHIP 5 NORTH,
RANGE 65 WEST OF THE 6TH P.M. , WELD COUNTY, COLORADO
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,

o v Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
o Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
o w affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and

o x WHEREAS , on October 24 , 1983 , the Board of County Commis-

osioners of Weld County, Colorado did, by Resolution, vacate a

o a portion of a certain street in Weld County as requested in a
petition submitted by Economy Lumber and Hardware, Inc. , and
WHEREAS , the Board has now received information that the

Z legal description in said Resolution should be amended, and

N E WHEREAS , said legal description should be amended to read

That portion of 26th Street Road, also known
Ln c- Z as 27th Street, located between Lot 8 and
Lot 9 of Arlington Gardens running from the
Northwest corner of Lot 8 and the Southwest
corner of Lot 9 East to the intersection of
the Union Pacific railway company right-of-
Lo way, and the Southeast corner of Lot 9 and
H N the Northeast corner of Lot 8 , being a road
50 feet in width. (Underlining added to
w indicate amendment. )
WHEREAS , after study and review, the Board deems it appro-
priate to approve said amendment to the legal description.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the above indicated
amendment to the hereinabove stated legal description concerning
the vacation of a certain street in Weld County, Colorado be,
and hereby is , approved, and the Chairman of the Board of County
Commissioners is authorized and directed to execute a Quit Claim
Deed conveying the street vacated to the abutting present owners.
