Data Exchange Agreement
This Agreement is made this �.1 day of MAY , 20O0, by and between Adams
County, Colorado, a political subdivision of the state of Colorado ("Adams County"), and
/Jab douiny aoi-otcnxo ("City/County/Agency").
WHEREAS, the exchange of data provides a mutually beneficial arrangement that
decreases data development costs and improves the availability of public information;
and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to participate in a data exchange program to improve
public service and provide better access to more complete and reliable data.
NOW THEREFORE, the Parties desire to enter into this Data Exchange Agreement to
provide for the exchange of the categories of data identified in Exhibit A, attached hereto
and incorporated herein.
I. Term and Conditions
a) The Parties shall provide at least one annual update of exchanged data.
b) The Parties will make diligent efforts to provide regular updates of exchanged
data to the other party to ensure current and accurate information.
c) The Parties will provide a contact person to facilitate the exchange of data.
II. Limitations/Miscellaneous
a) The data provided between the Parties is public information
and must be accepted and used with the understanding that the
data was collected for the use and purpose of the providing
Party. The Parties will not be held liable as to the
validity, correctness, accuracy, completeness, and/or
reliability of this data. The Parties assume no liability
whatsoever associated with the use or misuse of this public
information.
b) Data provided is the exclusive property of the providing
Party. This data may be protected under United States
copyright law and International copyright treaties and
conventions. No part of this data may be reproduced or
transmitted in any form or by any means, electronic or
mechanical, or by any information storage or retrieval system,
except as expressly permitted in writing by the providing
Party.
