Windows were broken, and entrance doors left open. The house had been completely trashed and littered. Lot was over grown as well as littered. As the sale to us happened just after the end of the time period to protest, we had no opportunity to do so. When we received the tax notice, we found the valuation to be $47,755.00.We applied for an abatement. The valuation was reduced to $26,516.00. Residential property is taxed by market value and we have a value on this property, $3750.00 as of sale on April 14 2005. We disagree with the finding and for this reason are applying to the Board of Equalization for relief.
