Re: Mead Chamber of Commerce Sugarbeet Festival
Dear Commissioners,
The Mead Chamber of Commerce is applying for a permit to hold a Sugarbeet Festival
on my property in October 2006. I have completed the necessary paperwork, but I don't
think I need the performance bond listed Section 12-1-30.B13 of the Weld County Code
because I will be responsible for cleaning up my own property.
This Festival will be a wonderful chance to show all of Colorado Weld County's past and
current agricultural heritage. I invite all of you to come and be part of the festivities.
Sincerely,
7)c.c.s, di44-11

In response to your request, Environmental Health Services has reviewed the Special

The following are the recommendations made by this Department:
1) Temporary food service guidelines be followed (attached).
2) Temporary hand washing stations be located outside the portable toilets. In
addition, provide temporary hand washing stations that are accessible only by food
preparation staff(see attached diagram for hand washing for food staff).

on the number of participants and the hours of the event it is our recommendation
that 8 portable toilets be provided.
