RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING CHANGE OF ZONE, PZ #629, FROM
A (AGRICULTURAL)ZONE DISTRICT TO PUD (PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT)
ZONE DISTRICT - DALLAS AND MARJORIE SCHNEIDER
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,by Resolution#2004-2504,dated September 15,2004,the Board approved the
application of Dallas and Marjorie Schneider, 520 Weld County Road 18, Longmont, Colorado
80504,c/o Pickett Engineering, Inc.,808 8th Street,Greeley,Colorado 80631,for Change of Zone,
PZ#629,from the A(Agricultural)Zone District to a PUD(Planned Unit Development)Zone District
for nine (9) lots with E (Estate)Zone uses and three(3) non-residential outlots for open space for
a parcel of land located on the following described real estate, to-wit:
Lot B of Recorded Exemption#2293;being part of the
NE1/4 of Section 30, Township 2 North, Range 68
West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado
WHEREAS,the Board of Commissioners has been presented with the request of Dallas and
Marjorie Scheider, to revoke Change of Zone, PZ#629, since the plat was not recorded, and
WHEREAS,after hearing all testimony presented,the Board deemed it advisable to revoke
Change of Zone, PZ #629, from the A (Agricultural) Zone District to a PUD (Planned Unit
Development)Zone District, and order the zoning be reverted to the A(Agricultural)Zone District.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County,Colorado,that the request of Dallas and Marjorie Schneider,c/o Pickett Engineering, Inc.,
concerning revocation of Change of Zone, PZ#629,from the A(Agricultural)Zone District to a PUD
(Planned Unit Development) Zone District, be, and hereby is, revoked.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that the zoning be, and hereby is, ordered to be reverted to the A (Agricultural) Zone
District.

SUBJECT: PZ-629
The Department of Planning Services has received the attached letter from Dallas and Marjorie
Schneider dated February 9, 2006 from Pickett engineering Inc on March 27, 2006. The
applicant is requesting a withdrawal of Change of Zone application PZ-629.
Background information:
Legal Description: Lot B of RE-2293 Pt NE4 of Section 30, T2N, R68W of the 6th P.M., Weld
County, Colorado.
Parcel number: 1313 30 000080
Location: North of and adjacent to CR 16 1/2 and approximately ¶4 mile east of CR 1.
PZ-629: PZ-629 was conditionally approved by the Board of County
Commissioners on September 15, 2004 — no plat was recorded.
Acres: 55 +/-
The original application was for a Change of Zone from the A (Agricultural) Zone District to PUD
(DalMar Estates) for nine (9) lots with (E) Estate uses (34 acres) and three (3) non-residential
outlots (21 acres) for open space.
The Department of Planning Services is in support of this request.
