Dear Mayor Simone:
Weld County acknowledges receipt of a letter dated August 3,2006,requesting termination
of the Town of Firestone's participation in the Frederick,Firestone,and Dacono agreement.
Under Section 17.4.8 D of the Agreement,any party may petition to terminate the agreement
by a mutual written agreement of the parties.
Over the next several months, county staff will work with your appointed representative to
mutually resolve this request. Should you have any questions, please call me at 970-336-
