Home My WebLink About840110.tiff AR1965454 RESOLUTION RE: GRANT REQUEST TO VACATE A PORTION OF CLAY STREET IN THE TOWN OF VOLLMAR, 2ND FILING, IN PART OF THE 51, SECTION 13 , TOWN- SHIP 2 NORTH, RANGE 67 WEST OF THE 6TH P.M. , WELD COUNTY, COLORADO WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has received a request to vacate a portion of Clay Street, being more particu- larly described as follows: The South 26. 5 feet of Clay Street, imme- diately adjacent to Lots 3-8 , Block 8, being a strip of land 150. 00 feet in length, in the Town of Vollmer, 2nd Filing, found at Book 5, Reception No. 169288 , being a Subdivision of a part of the South 1 of Section 13 , Township 2 North, Range 67 West of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado WHEREAS , after reviewing this matter, the Board desires to vacate said portion of Clay Street, and WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable that the Weld County Attorney prepare a Quit Claim Deed concerning this vacation of that portion of Clay Street, and WHEREAS , said Quit Claim Deed shall be executed by the Chairman of the Board and recorded in the office of the Weld County Clerk and Recorder, a copy of said Quit Claim Deed being attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com- missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the request to vacate a certain portion of Clay Street, as hereinabove described, be, and hereby is, granted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Ouit Claim Deed prepared by the Weld County Attorney and executed by the Chairman of the Board shall be recorded in the office of the Weld County Clerk and Recorder.
