RE: APPROVE REAPPOINTMENT TO GREELEY-WELD COUNTY AIRPORT AUTHORITY
BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,a vacancy currently exists on the Greeley-Weld County Airport Authority Board,
and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Ernie Crownover be reappointed to said board
as the joint City/County representative, with a term expiring December 31, 2010, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Ernie Crownover be, and hereby is, reappointed to the Greeley-Weld
County Airport Authority Board, with his term to expire December 31, 2010.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 4th day of December, A.D., 2006.

RE: Re-appointment of Ernie E. Crownover to Airport Board
Dear Ms. Sprague:
The initial four year term of Airport Commissioner Ernie E. Crownover, who serves as the
seventh member of the Greeley-Weld County Airport Authority Board of Commissioners, will
expire on December 31st, 2006. In accordance with the By-Laws of the Greeley-Weld
County Airport Authority, the seventh member seat must be filled with a citizen appointed
jointly by the City of Greeley and Weld County, based upon a recommendation from the
Airport Board of Commissioners.
On November 15th, 2006, at its regular Airport Board of Commissioners meeting, the Airport
Board adopted a Resolution formally recommending the re-appointment of Ernie E.
Crownover to the City of Greeley and Weld County, as the seventh member of the Airport
Board of Commissioners. Please find one original copy of Resolution No. 2-06 enclosed for
your records.
The Airport Authority By-Laws indicate that the City of Greeley and Weld County are
required to act upon the recommendation of the Airport Board in this case, within one month
of receipt, and appoint the recommended candidate except for good cause. Your
assistance in processing this action through the Board of Weld County Commissioners is
appreciated. A similar request has been forwarded to the City of Greeley.
