RE: APPROVAL TO PURCHASE A USED ESSEX V30 WR SELF-PROPELLED COMPACTOR FROM
WHITE STAR MACHINERY AND SUPPLY COMPANY FOR USE BY THE WELD COUNTY
ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners desires to purchase a used
Essex V30 WR Self-Propelled Compactor from White Star Machinery and Supply
Company for use by the Weld County Engineering Department, and
WHEREAS, due to the fact that said Compactor is a piece of used equip-
ment, it is not necessary to go out for bids or quotes, and
WHEREAS, the total purchase price of said Compactor is $4,218.00, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advisable and in
the best interests of Weld County, Colorado to purchase said piece of equip-
ment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado that the purchase of a used Essex V30 WR Self-Propelled
Compactor from White Star Machinery and Supply Company for use by the Weld
County Engineering Department at a total purchase price of $4,218.00 be,
and hereby is, approved.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 27th day of August, A.D. , 1980.
