Home My WebLink About20060899.tiff RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS MINUTES BOARD OF SOCIAL SERVICES WELD COUNTY, COLORADO MARCH 27, 2006 TAPE #2006-12 The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, met in regular session as the Board of Social Services in full conformity with the laws of the State of Colorado at the regular place of meeting in the Weld County Centennial Center, Greeley, Colorado, March 27, 2006, at the hour of 9:00 a.m. ROLL CALL: The meeting was called to order by the Chair and on roll call the following members were present, constituting a quorum of the members thereof: Commissioner M. J. Geile, Chair Commissioner David E. Long, Pro-Tem - EXCUSED Commissioner William H. Jerke Commissioner Robert D. Masden - EXCUSED Commissioner Glenn Vaad Also present: County Attorney, Bruce T. Barker Acting Clerk to the Board, Jenny VanEgdom Director of Finance and Administration, Donald D. Warden MINUTES: Commissioner Jerke moved to approve the minutes of the Board of Social Services meeting of March 22, 2006, as printed. Commissioner Vaad seconded the motion, and it carried unanimously. WARRANTS: Don Warden, Director of Finance and Administration, presented the warrants for approval by the Board in the amount of $42,477.84. Commissioner Vaad moved to approve the warrants as presented by Mr. Warden. Commissioner Jerke seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. NEW BUSINESS: CONSIDER COLORADO WORKS PROGRAM AGREEMENT FOR SERVICES AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN-THE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION SERVINGGREELEYAND WELD COUNTY: Judy Griego, Director of Social Services, stated The Community Foundation,through Leanna's Closet,will provide job interview and employment clothing for eligible clients. She stated the term of the agreement is calendar year 2006,and Leanna's Closet will be reimbursed a maximum of$1,500.00. Commissioner Vaad moved to approve said agreement and authorize the Chair to sign. Seconded by Commissioner Jerke,the motion carried unanimously.
