RE: APPOINTMENT OF COMMISSIONER NORMAN CARLSON TO THE COMMUNICA-
TIONS ADVISORY BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on November 7 , 1979 , the Board of County Commis-
sioners adopted a resolution concerning the appointment of a
County Commissioner to the Communications Advisory Board who
shall also serve as the Chairman of said Communications Advisory
Board, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has set forth,
by resolution, that the Commissioner Coordinator of Communica-
tions Services shall serve as a member of the Communications
Advisory Board, and
WHEREAS, Commissioner Norman Carlson is the Commissioner
Coordinator of Communications Services for 1981 and the Board
deems it advisable to appoint Commissioner Norman Carlson to
the Communications Advisory Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that Commissioner Norman
Carlson be, and hereby is, appointed to the Communications
Advisory Board for a term to expire December 31, 1981 .
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 14th day of
January, A.D. , 1981.
