WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, State of Colorado, at a
duly and lawfully called regular meeting held on the 7th day of August,2006,at which meeting there
were present the following members: Commissioners William H. Jerke, David E. Long, and
Robert D. Masden, with Chair M. J. Geile and Commission Glenn Vaad being excused, and
WHEREAS,notice of such meeting and an opportunity to be present has been given to the
taxpayer and the Assessor of said County,and said Assessor, Stan Sessions, being represented
by Mike Sampson, and taxpayer Wells Fargo Bank, not being present, and
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners have carefully considered the attached
petitions, and are fully advised in relation thereto.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Board concurs with the recommendation of the assessor and the
petitions be and hereby are, approved, and an abatement or refund be allowed as follows:

Pursuant to our telephone conversation last week concerning the tax exempt status of the
above referenced parcels, enclosed please find the Lease Purchase Agreement between Wells
Fargo and the Colorado Department of Transportation, together with the Warranty Deed between
Tiger Financial Investors, LLC and Wells Fargo Bank. The Warranty Deed was recorded on
February 4, 2005 at Reception Number 3258784.
Please let me know if you need any additional information in order to change the status of
the parcels referenced above to tax exempt as property of the Department of Transportation,
State of Colorado for 2005 and future years pursuant to C.R.S. § § 43-1-214 and 39-3-105.
