RESOLUTION
RE: ACCEPT AND DEDICATE RIGHT-OF-WAY FROM MARTHA A. WILLIAMS
CONCERNING WELD COUNTY ROAD 161/2
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Engineer has informed the Board
of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado that construc-

tion is necessary on Weld County Bridge 161/1A, said construc-
tion to include realignment on Weld County Road 16;, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Engineer has further informed
the Board that a Quit Claim Deed has been obtained from Martha
A. Williams, whose property would be affected by said constuc-
tion, and
WHEREAS, the property deeded to Weld County by Martha A.
Williams is located in the NW4 SW4 of Section 29, Township 2
North, Range 68 West of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado
being more particularly described as follows, to-wit:

the Southwest quarter (S.W.4) of Section
29, Township 2 North, Range 68 West of the
6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado being more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the West quarter corner (W.aCor)
of said Section 29 and considering the West
line of the Northwest quarter (N.W.4) of the
Southwest quarter (S.W.a) of said Section
29 to bear South 00°12 ' 48" West and with
all other bearings contained herein relating
thereto: Thence South 00°12 ' 48" West a dis-
tance of 290. 60 feet, more or less, along
the West line of Northwest quarter (N.W.4)
of the Southwest quarter (S.W.a) of said
Section 29 to a point on existing fence line;
Thence, North 31°02 ' 00" East a distance of
20. 00 feet, more or less, along the existing
fence line to the true point of beginning
(T.P.O.B. ) ; Thence along a curve to the left
whose radius is 277. 39 feet and whose long

WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable and in the best inter-
_ _ est of Weld County to accept said Quit Claim Deed and dedicate
the above described property as a portion of Weld County Road 161/2.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the acceptance of the
Quit Claim Deed from Martha A. Williams and the dedication of

The Quit Claim Deed from Martha A. Williams, a copy of which is attached
hereto, is for right-of-way needed in the construction of County Bridge 161/1A.
After conferring with Lee Morrison of the County Attorney's office, and
Drew Scheltinga, County Engineer, this item is placed on the agenda for your
action - to accept and dedicate this parcel as County right-of-way.
