RE: ACTION OF THE BOARD CONCERNING TEMPORARY PERMIT FOR A HOTEL AND
RESTAURANT LIQUOR LICENSE FOR 5990, LLC, DBA RAFFERTY'S AND
AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,5990, LLC, dba Rafferty's, 5990 West 10th Street, Greeley,Colorado 80634,
presented to the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, an application for a
Transfer of Ownership of a Hotel and Restaurant Liquor License, for the sale of malt, vinous and
spirituous liquors for consumption by the drink on the premises only,said License previously held
by Rafferty's, Inc., dba Rafferty's, and
WHEREAS,Section 12-47-106.5,C.R.S.,which became effective July 1, 1991, allows for
the issuance by the Board of County Commissioners of a temporary permit to the transferee of an
existing liquor license to authorize the transferee to conduct business and sell alcoholic beverages
at retail in accordance with said license, subject to compliance with certain conditions, and
WHEREAS,after discussion of said matter, the Board of County Commissioners deems
it necessary to continue the matter to April 19,2006,at 9:00 a.m.,due to the fact that the closing on
the property has been delayed to April 24, 2006.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the hearing regarding the Temporary Permit for a Hotel and Restaurant
Liquor License, for 5990, LLC, dba Rafferty's, be, and hereby is, continued to April 19, 2006, at
9:00 a.m.

The above and foregoing Resolution was,on motion duly made and seconded,adopted by
the following vote on the 29th day of March, A.D., 2006.
