RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO JUVENILE COMMUNITY
REVIEW BOARD
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,vacancies currently exist on the Juvenile Community Review Board, and
WHEREAS,it has been recommended that Brandon Luna be appointed to said board as the
alternate law enforcement representative to replace Amanda Mashin, and
WHEREAS,it has been recommended that Susan Knox be reappointed to said board as the
regular law enforcement representative; that Kyle Raglund be reappointed to said board as the
regular Social Services representative; that Kelli O'Brien be reappointed to said board as the
alternate Social Services representative; that Gary Kessler be reappointed to said board as the
regularJuvenile Services Planning Committee representative; and that Wendy Rich-Goldschmidt
be reappointed to said board as the alternate Juvenile Services Planning Committee representative,
and
WHEREAS,the Board deems it advisable to appoint Brandon Luna to said board, and to
reappoint Susan Knox, Kyle Raglund, Gary Kessler, Kelli O'Brien, and Wendy Rich-Goldschmidt
to said board, all with terms to expire November 1, 2009, and
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Brandon Luna be, and hereby is, appointed to the Juvenile Community
Review Board, with a term to expire November 1, 2009.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that Susan Knox, Kyle Raglund, Gary Kessler, Kelli O'Brien, and Wendy
Rich-Goldschmidt be,and hereby are, reappointed to the Juvenile Community Review Board,with
terms to expire November 1, 2009.
