A public hearing was conducted on June 21, 2006, at 10:00 a.m., with the following present:
Commissioner M. J. Geile, Chair
Commissioner David E. Long, Pro-Tern
Commissioner William H. Jerke - EXCUSED
Commissioner Robert D. Masden
Commissioner Glenn Vaad
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Jenny Luna
County Attorney, Bruce Barker
Planning Department representative, Kim Ogle
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated June 2,2006,and duly published June 7,2006,in the
Fort Lupton Press, a public hearing was conducted to consider the request of Great Western Oil
and Gas Company, LLC,for a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit
#1551 for an Oil and Gas Production Facility (eight oil and gas wells and one tank battery) in the
I-1 (Industrial) Zone District. Bruce Barker, County Attorney, made this a matter of record.
Kim Ogle, Department of Planning Services, requested a continuance of the matter to July 12,2006,
since a notification sign was not posted on the property at least ten days prior to the hearing.
Commissioner Long moved to continue the request of Great Western Oil and Gas Company, LLC,
for a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit#1551 for an Oil and Gas
Production Facility(eight oil and gas wells and one tank battery)in the I-1 (Industrial)Zone District,
to July 12, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Vaad, and it carried
unanimously. Commissioner Vaad expressed his apologies to the applicant for the inconvenience
of continuing the matter. There being no further discussion, the hearing was completed at
10:05 a.m.
