RE: APPROVE AMENDMENT TO 457 PLAN
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,the Board has been presented with proposed attached amendment to the 457
Plan, known as the Deferred Compensation Plan of the County of Weld, State of Colorado, and
WHEREAS,after review,the Board deems it advisable to approve the amendment,a copy
of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the attached amendment proposed for the 457 Plan, be, and hereby is,
adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVEDthat the Board hereby authorizes the attached amendment
to be incorporated into the 457 Plan Document.
The above and foregoing Resolution was,on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 13th day of February, A.D., 2006.

AMENDMENT
2005 MODEL 457(b) PLAN DOCUMENT
FOR GOVERNMENTAL EMPLOYERS
Pursuant to Section 11.02 of the Great-West 2005 Model 457(b) Plan Document for
Governmental Employers, the plan is amended to reflect the following technical
corrections effective as though contained in the plan document on the date adopted.
1. Section 1.10 is hereby amended to read:
"Employer." The eligible governmental entity sponsoring the Plan as named
in section A. of the Adoption Agreement.
2. Section 1.13 is hereby amended by deleting the last paragraph in its entirety to
conform to the rule in the final regulations that prohibits the selection of a
normal retirement age later than age 70 1/2.
3. Section 1.19 is hereby amended by replacing "Treasury Reg. §1.457-9(a)(2)"
with "Treasury Reg. §1.457-8(a)(2)".
