This publication documents our commitment over the past year to maximizing revenues for local governments such as yours. Please know the Lottery Commission and staff are also aware of the commitments that local agencies such as yours have made to support the Lottery's mission over the past year, and we're appreciative. Like other divisions within the Department of Revenue, the Lottery exists to serve the people of this state. This means finding cost efficient ways to deliver our sales and corporate messages. By reducing the level of expenditures for marketing and promotions,we can increase the number of dollars that fall to the bottom line. Your assistance in communicating Lottery messages to the public helps us to serve you better. The recent success of our$35 Million Cash Spectacular game launch, supported in no small way by our proceeds partners, shows the impact local leaders—such as yourself—can have on Lottery proceeds. We've appreciated this opportunity to work with you in the betterment of Colorado's communities, its natural resources and recreation facilities. I look forward to this time next year, when our combined efforts will produce yet another success story.
