U.S. 6, S.H. 14 AT STERLING Don Kehn Construction, Inc. of Fort Collins submitted an apparently successful bid of $193,956 at the Division of Highways October 25 opening for a combined project to resurface segments of U.S. 6 and S.H. 14 in and near Sterling. Both projects consist of hot bituminous pavement overlay. Work on U.S. 6 begins a mile within the east city limits of Sterling and extends 0.677 mile east toward S.H. 61. The S.H. 14 resurfacing begins a mile and a half west of Sterling and extends 1.828 miles east. Three firms turned in bids for this project, which requires completion within fifteen workable days. L.
