Thank you for your email regarding problems associated with the Assessor's Office map on the Weld
County website. We visited with Judi Boeck about the issue,and she advised us she is aware of your
frustrations. Ms. Boeck advised us there are periods of heavy usage Monday through Friday, 10:00
am to 4:00 pm, and that matches the times you described as most difficult.
The host site will install a new server sometime within the next two months and that should alleviate
the problems you are experiencing. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Subject: Chris Ruff Concerns Regarding the Parcel Mapping Application
Vicky,
I have had several communications with Mr. Ruff during the month of March regarding his
difficulties with the web site, explaining to him that there are, indeed, heavy usage
periods on weekdays between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM and that we are aware of it. Mr. Ruff was
informed that there are plans by our host site to install a new server in the April/May
timeframe and that should alleviate the problems that he and many others currently
experience when accessing the site during those times.

We are starting a campaign to let you know every time the Weld County web site (Assessor's map) doesn't work
properly to try to get attention focused on the problem. The web site is famous for not working properly,
especially after 10 or 11 in the morning until the end of the day. We have tried the proper channels but without
improvements. Ms. Boeck, a very nice lady in GIS, apparently cannot get the funding attention this needs to
solve the problem, so we plan to start emailing you commissioners every time it doesn't work.
This web site is important to a lot of people, both taxpayers such as myself(I live in Windsor) and your own
Assessor personnel, in their day-to-day work. Larimer County's web site doesn't have a problem, so this can't be
impossible to fix.
Please help solve this problem.
