HomeMy WebLinkAbout800841.tiff RESOLUTION RE: APPROVAL TO SUBMIT ENERGY TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE GRANT APPLI- CATIONS AND AUTHORIZATION FOR CHAIRMAN TO SIGN THE SAME. WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, on April 9, 1980, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado awarded ARIX the bid concerning an energy conservation program contingent upon grant money being received from the State, and WHEREAS, applications for an Energy Technical Assistance Grant have been prepared (one for the Courthouse and one for the Centennial Center) for Board approval, and WHEREAS, after studying said applications, the Board deems it advisable to approve the applications. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com- missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the Energy Technical Assistance Grant Applications be, and hereby are, approved for submittal to the State Department of Energy. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners that the Chairman of the Board is hereby authorized to sign said applications.
