RESOLUTION
RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING RECORDED EXEMPTION#4414 -ALBERT AND
ROBIN PEREZ, C/O TREVOR THIEL
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,the request for Recorded Exemption#4414 was submitted by Albert and Robin
Perez, 1330 71st Avenue, Greeley, Colorado 80634, do Trevor Thiel, 826 9th Street, Suite 200,
Greeley, Colorado 80631,for property which is located on the following described real estate,to-wit:
Lot B of Recorded Exemption#1312;being part of the
NW1/4 of Section 9, Township 5 North, Range 66
West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado
WHEREAS,this request is to divide the property into parcels estimated to be approximately
21 acres and 2.5 acres, and
WHEREAS,after reviewing Department of Planning Services concerns and hearing the
testimony presented, the Board determined that said request shall be denied for the following
reasons:
1. It is the opinion of the Board of County Commissioners that this proposal evades the
purpose of Section 24-1-30 of the Weld County Code.
2. The Board feels this division would be inconsistent with efficient and orderly
development.
3. The Board feels this proposal is not consistent with Chapter 22 of the Weld County
Code.
4. It is the opinion of the Board that the proposal is not consistent with the City of
Greeley's plans for the Knaus Enclave Annexation.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County,Colorado,that the request for Recorded Exemption#4414, submitted by Albert and Robin
Perez, do Trevor Thiel, be, and hereby is, denied.
