RE: APPOINTMENT OF WALTER TEFL TO PLACEMENT ALTERNATIVES
COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld
County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the Board of
County Commissioners that a vacancy exists on the Placement
Alternatives Commission as Lee Trujillo is no longer
employed by the Fort Lupton Police Department and does
not reside in Weld County, and
WHEREAS, Walter Teel, Chief of Police for the Town of
Windsor, is qualified to fill the vacancy and therefore, the
Placement Alternatives Commission has recommended that the
Board of County Commissioners appoint Walter Teel to serve
on said Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado that Walter Teel,
be and hereby is, appointed to serve on the Placement Alternatives
Commission.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly
made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 8th day
June, A.D. , 1981.

Dear Mr. Carlson:
As Chairman of the Weld County Placement Alternatives Commission I am
requesting that the Board of County Commissioners appoint Mr. Walter
Teal to replace Mr. Lee Trujillo on the PAC. Mr. Trujillo is no longer
employed by the Fort Lupton Police Department and does not reside in
Weld County.
Mr. Tekl is the Chief of Police for the town of Windsor and has indicated
an interest in serving on the Placement Alternatives Commission.
