Home My WebLink About800384.tiff RESOLUTION RE: GRANT REQUEST OF BOY SCOUTS FOR USE OF 4-H BUILDING AND WAIVER OF RENTAL FEE FOR THE SAME. WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the annual Scout Show for the Weld District Boy Scouts will be held on March 29 , 1980 from 8 : 00 a.m. to approxi- mately 6 : 00 p.m. , and WHEREAS, said Boy Scouts have requested permission to use the 4-H Building at Island Grove Park and further that the Board waive the rental fee for the same, and WHEREAS, the Boy Scouts have informed the Board that they will pay the necessary janitorial fees, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners desires to grant said request. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com- missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the request of the Boy Scouts for permission to use the 4-H Building at Island Grove Park on March 29 , 1980 be, and hereby is, granted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the rental fee for said 4-H Building be, and hereby is , waived. It is understood, however, that the necessary janitorial fees shall be paid by the Boy Scouts. The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 25th day of February, A.D. , 1980. In the past the Commissioners have been gracious enough to allow us the use of the 41 Building at Island Grove Park free of charge for this show. We are request4mg that you again allow us this privilege. The necessary janitorial fees wi,luld be paid by us. This event is the biggest in Weld County Scouting. Several thousand people attend this annual event to displays of Scouting skills and events. Thank you for any help and support you can give us in this matter.
