RE: CHANGE OF ZONE, CZ#1104, FROM THE R-1 (LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL) ZONE
DISTRICT TO THE A(AGRICULTURAL)ZONE DISTRICT-JAY AND SHERRIE WOODS
A public hearing was conducted on February 1, 2006, at 10:00 a.m., with the following present:
Commissioner M. J. Geile, Chair
Commissioner David E. Long, Pro-Tern
Commissioner William H. Jerke
Commissioner Robert D. Masden
Commissioner Glenn Vaad
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Esther Gesick
Assistant County Attorney, Lee Morrison
Planning Department representative, Brad Mueller
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated January 12, 2006, and duly published January 18,
2006, in the Fort Lupton Press,a public hearing was conducted to consider the request of Jay and
Sherrie Woods for a Change of Zone, CZ #1104, from the R-1 (Low Density Residential) Zone
District to the A(Agricultural)Zone District. Lee Morrison,Assistant County Attorney, made this a
matter of record. Brad Mueller, Department of Planning Services, requested this matter be
continued to February 15, 2006, at 10:00 a.m., to allow Planning Services staff additional time to
post a notification sign on the subject site.
No public testimony was offered concerning this matter.
Commissioner Jerke moved to continue the request of Jay and Sherrie Woods for a Change of
Zone,CZ#1104,from the R-1 (Low Density Residential)Zone District to the A(Agricultural)Zone
District,to February 15,2006,at 10:00 a.m.,to allow Planning Services staff additional time to post
a notification sign on the subject property. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Long,and
it carried unanimously. There being no further discussion,the hearing was completed at 10:05 a.m.
