RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF BRETT REESE AND JAMES BURACK TO THE
COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS BOARD
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,vacancies currently exist on the Community Corrections Board, and
WHEREAS,it has been recommended that Brett Reese be appointed to said board as the
at-large representative, to replace George Marietta, and
WHEREAS,it has been recommended that James Burack be appointed to said board as
the law enforcement representative, to replace Michael Guthrie, and
WHEREAS,the Board deems it advisable to appoint Brett Reese to said board,with a term
to expire August 1, 2009, and to appoint James Burack to said board, with no term expiration.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Brett Reese and James Burack be, and hereby are, appointed to the
Community Corrections Board, with a term to expire August 1, 2009, and no term expiration,
respectively.
The above and foregoing Resolution was,on motion duly made and seconded,adopted by
the following vote on the 2nd day of August, A.D., 2006.
