We have proposed a full road closure for the following reasons: 1. The existing road width does not allow for a full one lane closure to be installed. 2. There is concern over traffic backing on to HW14 during periods of high volume material delivery. 3. The road alignment is shifting to the East, necessitating the construction of a shoulder. This will introduce a hazard to the traveling public, even if shouldered each evening. It is our intention to complete the work as soon as possible, however due to weather considerations; we estimate that three weeks will be required. We should be grateful to receive your decision at your earliest convenience.
