RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO PLANNING COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Planning Commission, and
WHEREAS,it has been recommended that Doug Ochsner, Paul Branham,and Tom Holton
be reappointed to said board as the District 2, District 3, and at-large representatives, respectively,
and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Mark Lawley be appointed to said board as the
at-large representative, to replace Mike Miller, and
WHEREAS,the Board deems it advisable to reappoint Doug Ochsner, Paul Branham, and
Tom Holton to said board, with terms to expire July 31, 2009, and
WHEREAS,the Board deems it advisable to appoint Mark Lawley to said board,with a term
to expire July 31, 2008.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Doug Ochsner, Paul Branham, and Tom Holton be, and hereby are,
reappointed to the Planning Commission, with terms to expire July 31, 2009.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that Mark Lawley be, and hereby is, appointed to the Planning Commission,with a term
to expire July 31, 2008.
