RE: APPROVE RECOMMENDATION OF APPOINTMENTS TO JUVENILE SERVICES
PLANNING COMMITTEE
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,pursuantto Section 19-2-1602.7 of House Bill 93-134,and by Resolution dated
July 7, 1993,the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,Colorado,together with the Chief
Judge of the Judicial District,agreed to create the local Juvenile Services Planning Committee,and
WHEREAS,it has been recommended that Gary Kessler be appointed to said committee
to replace Mike Guthrie as the municipalities representative,and that Mike Guthrie be appointed as
a community representative, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to recommend to the Chief Judge of the
Nineteenth Judicial District that Gary Kessler be appointed to said committee to replace Mike Guthrie
as the municipalities representative, and that Mike Guthrie be appointed as a community
representative.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Gary Kessler and Mike Guthrie, be, and hereby are, recommended to the
Chief Judge of the 19th Judicial District for appointments to the Juvenile Services Planning
Committee.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 16th day of August, A.D., 2006.

Pursuant to § 19-2-211,C.R.S. and upon the recommendation of the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
IT IS ORDERED:
The following individuals are appointed to the Juvenile Services Planning Committee for
the Nineteenth Judicial District:
Gary Kessler is appointed to replace Mike Guthrie as the Municipalities Representative
and Mike Guthrie is appointed as the Community Representative.
